Hello to all. Well I thought that I would write at this time and say that KB's meetings the last two months were really happening! I'm glad to report that attendance is "UP!" Let's keep it that way.

The more members in attendance,the better time we have... don't you think! We should all get excited and attend as much as possible! I do think that those in attendance had a great time this past month!

The April meeting is not far off and the May meeting is scheduled to be in N. Augusta, SC. at Kari & Marilyn's house. Those who attended there last year know that we had a really good time. Our May meeting date conflicts with race week in Charlotte and Kari & Marilyn are gracious to host our meeting again this year. Please talk with Kari or Marilyn on directions.

According to Dana, our bank account is really doing well. We have several projects on the table now and hopefully we can get them started this year. Last year we didn't have the funds to really do what we had wanted to do but, this year is a different story. Anyone who has suggestions on what we can do this year should inform a B.O.D. member and allow us to work on your idea or request. In this past month we felt the loss of a member and another member's mother, I hope that they know, they will be missed by those that they touched in their lifetime. Please keep their memory alive in your hearts. I happened to know both of them. Dyana Lea was so special of a person, she even allowed us to roast her last July for her 80th birthday! I would like to honor Dyana Lea by asking the members of Kappa Beta to allow us to honor Dyana's memory by having an annual roast and calling it,"The Dyana Lea Memorial Roast!" Each year we would honor her by roasting another member. Let me know what you think about it. April's meeting was attended by only eight members an one SO. Well, the May meeting was here and gone! We had five members and one SO in attendance for the cook-out in Augusta...if you missed it, the food was great! Everyone in attendance had a great time! Every should start thinking about annual elections as we will start the nominations in July. Hope to see you all in June for the meeting! From the Chair. Diana
