At the end of my current term, I will have been the editor for over 2½ years. I hope the Pink Slip has noticeably improved. Additionally, I will have been the webmistress for 2 years.
I do not intend to run for the Board again. Therefore, it would be awfully good if someone, or ones, would step forward and start learning how to take over these duties.
The editor's job is not hard and doesn't take much time. She just needs to check the web site on occasion and review any new articles. If they need to be cleaned up a little, then she can do that. Then the articles are marked for publication.
The webmistress' job is more complex, although not as time-consuming as some might think. The main thing is that whoever wants to learn this job needs to know something about building a web site with Drupal. [BTW, this could look good on your résumé.]
The sooner we find someone, the sooner training can begin. It would be nice to have someone who could take over quickly should anything happen to me.
