These are real laws that are on the books in the Carolinas.
North Carolina:
- Charlotte women must have their bodies covered by at least 16 yards of cloth at all time.
- Elephants may not be used to plow cornfields.
- It's against the law to sing off-key in North Carolina.
South Carolina:
- Horses may not be kept in bathtubs.
- It is considered an offense to get a tattoo.
- You may not ride your horse on Main Street in Columbia.
