From the Chair - May 2007
Well, here we are in the month of May, getting ready for the meeting to take place in N. Augusta at Kari and Marilyn's house. I for one can hardly wait to attend as it promises to be exciting for all who attend.
The group is lucky to have members like Kari and Marilyn who graciously allow us to meet at their home when we need to relocate from Charlotte during the May race week. I hope that everyone will thank them for their generosity.
We have had several new candidates for membership lately. Marilyn and Pamela have been corresponding with them. We need new members! I hope that each and every one of us would email them and try to bring them into the group; you could possibly make a new friend out of the experience!
About our June meeting: We are planning to pay tribute to a very dear member of KB with the first ever, "Kappa Beta Roast" of Ms. Dyana Lea! That's right, the first KB roast of a member, bring your BBQ sauce! Just kidding... It promises to be a great time for all. If anyone wants to roast Dyana, let us know as we must arrange the speakers for the event. So, let us know ahead of time.
